Decided to give Lake Wa a try for some coho. G-Man's reports made it an easy decision this morning. Didnt really start getting bites until 10:30 40 feet on the wire. Used my home made spinner hoochie. First fish was lost before it got to the boat. Second fish was netted and bonked. 3rd fish got to the net and the hook gets caught, fish does a nice roll and snaps my leader. 1/3 fr the day. I had to play around with the colors and depth until I found what was working (no fish finder). I had all three bites in a 30 min window and then nothing else. Great day all in all and Im glad I made a trip to say at least I tried it once. Now for the river fishing which I think I may go and check out the holes I found on the Sky last year. Tight Lines to all.

You the man DJ! I love the amazing amount of lakes and river you cover with that toon and the reward of catching fish to boot! Great report and hope to cross lines with you someday!

Nice job! What type of weight(s) were you using to get down to the fish?

Good job on the coho. How deep were you running the spinner and how did you keep it down? I assume you were trolling with weight? Thanks for your help.

Hey Fellas, I do have a mini cannon manual downrigger with a c clamp that attaches to my Pontoon's motor mount. Thats how I was able to adjust my depths.
