Yes,

Here is another Lake Washington report. I am sure some of you are probably tired of seeing my reports as I have been fishing every morning this week. I promise after tomorrow there wont be as many.... MAYBE.

I decided to switch things up a little bit in the sense of the color of my hoochie. I went with the Tequila Sunrise followed by two glow beads today and it proved to out fish any other hoochies I own. I was on the water at 8 am and had a limit by 9:15 am. I was trolling close to 1.8-2.0 mph at 50 feet on the wire all morning. Just when I thought things were slowing down after yesterday it picks up yet once again. Most of the fish caught were jacks with one being a 5lb buck. After I caught my limit I talked with a Wa Lake member who seemed to be doing well also as he only needed one more fish for his limit. It's always nice to meet you guys.

On my way back I decided to take my hoochie off so i wouldnt hook another Silver and threw on my Cripplure to target a potential cutthroat. Well I was successful doing that as I got a nice hard strike just as I was answering a phone call. Love those cell phone bites! I was off the water with plenty of time to go home and shower then head to work. What an amazing morning with calm waters and a little bit of fog that did clear soon after I caught my first fish. I encourage you to get out there before the run comes to an end. It is absolutely a blast. I will be out there one last time tomorrow morning. Maybe I will run into some you? Who knows, tight lines and God Bless!!

I"cough cough" feel a cold coming on, might have to call in sick to work... Seriously, it's great to see your success and hopefully has gotten some of our readers out and trying this fishery.

Thanks for all great reports. Dj, were you using a dodger or flasher? I fished Tuesday and got skunked. Tried plugs, flasher and mini squid with smile blade. Probably just me!

What kind of Flasher/Dodger were you using? I am thinking about going up to LK. Washington this weekend.

I just use a standard 6-8 inch chrome dodger made by Luhr Jensen. Nothing fancy.

DJ it was good to meet you on the water. I was able to pick up my last fish about 40 minutes later along with two fat Cut's and an ugly eel.

Seems like the secret is to get there early. I finally got on the lake about noon. Wind was blowing and lake was a wee bit rough. Didnt see any fish caught and I sure as heck didnt catch any!!

Evenings you can catch em and without the crowds. Only 3 boats out last night. May not be quite as hot as a morning bite but there are fish that will bite.
