This might be one of the last remaining boat fishing days for me. Hoping for 1 more this week, but will depend on weather. Started later today than usual. Had to put a few gallons of gas in the boat.

Very light low fog, with heavy cloud cover. Wasn't sure what to do. Water still warm at 65. As I'm trying on a spinnerbait, I see a few markings at 30'. Dropped DS straight down instead. Felt a few light ticks, but no hookup. I move shallower and working the docks and edge with spinnerbait, crank, and swimsuit. Mixed in the DS here and there.

Worked the outside weed edge too.

After a little over 1 hrs, I finally get a small bass, 13" on DS on weed edge.

Kept moving. I get 2 dinks on the DS in 25' of water.

I haven't hit farthole in a while. So I stopped off there and immediately catch a 15-16" smb. Stayed there for another 15 mins to see if anything else would bite. As I'm sitting at the hole, what looked like a nice dark salmon comes shooting out of the water about 20' from me. Startled me, lol. Definitely wasn't carp. Shot out clear out of the water like I use to see when I was fishing the green river.

Now is about noon and the sun is finally starting to break through.

I went farther up the lake and caught another 15-16" smb in 42' of water. Weighed 2.14 lbs. Got a squaw at same spot. Tried to feed an eagle up in the tree, but it didn't come down to take it. Waited for about 10-15 mins and left.

Caught a couple more dandy perch. One of them was spitting out these little 1" minnows.

Very slow overall. As I'm packing up, I decide to start trolling for about 40 mins.
5 strikes, 1fish on. A little 10" trout. Looked like a trout to me.

Got back to launch and bumped into AMX. Thought I saw him fly past me on the water but I wasn't sure, since it was so late in the day, lol.
