Another awesome day. Still using the barbless hook, I caught everything on either my (now falling apart) home-made jig w/the pink/white curly tail or on a size 0 Dick Nite. Both with pinched barbs.

The guys next to me were pulling them in as fast as they could cast w/the Vibrax spinners, but I'm not wanting to keep them all, nor kill the ones I'm tossing back. Besides, w/a barbless hook, it's way more of a challenge. I lost probably a dozen that popped off the hook, tossed 7 or 8 back and still had my limit of 10 nice, fat, bright steelie smolts by 10:30am.

Also a BIG thanks to Wa. Lakes for selecting one of my reports as the winner for last month. They sent a fantastic package of lures and other schwag that I'll use and post photos of, in the next few days.
