Went out to Kitsap lake today to try out the bow mounted trolling motor I just installed and decided to drown a few worms too.

Started trolling when I got into about 15' of water trolled toward north end of lake . Was using a home made pop gear ( similar to a Mack's Lure® Flash Lite® Trolls ) and worms with a slow death hook.

Was fishing lead line and 3 -1/2 colors out, trolling about 1.5 mph . Caught 3 fish about 14" and released them as they were only lip hooked . Crossed over to west side of lake and trolled south. Caught and released 2 more about same size .
Started to get windy and raining so decided to head for home.

Newly installed bow mount motor worked great but was a little hard to get used to for steering.
