Went out to Bitter lake in the morning ,started out very wet & rainy after I got my boat unloaded and in the water went and parked the truck up around the corner walked back down to the lake looked inside the boat , I couldn’t believe how much water was in it already. So I proceeded to bail out the rain water before I headed out on the water must have had 3 gallons of water. Soon as I finished shoved off and away I went fishing. Was about 10 feet out casted one of my poles out with a pink & white Dick nite set my pole down to cast other pole soon as I picked up 2nd pole to cast wham fish in first pole. Landed that one. Recast pole and went to cast 2nd pole out and same thing another fish on the pink dick nite lure. Got that one reeled up to boat and it spit the hook. Finally stopped raining and started to clear up. Caught a few more fish trolling decided to do some still fishing with a drop shot setup using orange & green power eggs. That’s when I caught the biggest fish of the day was around 15” and pretty fat. Saw one other person out in a raft and just before I was leaving a few gentlemen came out to do some bank fishing. Ended the day with 9
