Coldwater Lake last winter. It was a little cool up there, but it was an awesome day to be on the water. Caught a few fish as well. Most were caught on a fly I make that I call my drunkin dragon. I usually just move it along the bottom in about 26 feet of water real slow like with an occasional twitch once in a while. I hope to be up there in a week or so if the road stays open. I normally use a high density wt. forward #6 fast sinking fly line with about 6 feet of mono leader tied with a loop knot to the fly so it can move real good. I've had so many hours of enjoyment up there over the years. Sometimes you catch rainbows, sometimes cut-bows, and sometimes some native cuththroat. Any of them are a treat. I am really looking forward to coming over to the east side to fish Roosevelt Lake in January.
