Got down to the kiddie pond at about 8am. The bite was good but not as good as yesterday.
Lots of folks fishing bait - and lots of bait/gut caught fish being thrown back.
I saw one in its death throws swimming in front of me & I netted him. Ooops! Did I just say that? Yep, I was technically a law-breaker, but when jackasses disrespect the fisherman's code and throw back a fish they've killed, I don't have too much of an issue trying to help clean up their mess (other than the issue of being pissed off about it, of course!).

Anyhow, on my end - caught all my fish on rooster tails today except for a big dark triploid which I caught on a 50/50 size1 dick nite. The steelies didn't hit my jigs, dick nites or vibrax. I got my limit (with a little help from my neighbor to my right) by 10am.
This may be the last post of the season for me unless the ski resorts are still closed when I get back. Thanks for reading everybody!
