Quick story is I found fast action at long l as keep dam. A bit of a run but worth it. The fish seem to have moved down river consistently. Averging14 to 15 inches. Best success seems higher up.. using apex's, double whammy and today I tied on a orange kekeda fly. Kekeda brought last 2 fish into boat. That stinger treble really helps. In less than 2 hours I limited, lost 3 right at boat and gad around another 15 hits or so. Definitely betterat lower dam.

Hi thumb, I assume the first sentence reads Long Lake Dam? Did you put in at the confluence? That is a run for sure!

yeah sorry about bad script. it was down at long lake dam off the new docks that avista put in. I did make the run from nine mile resort area. going to try again tomorrow the 19th before the holiday fully hits and our bay freezes.

Sure wish they would keep the boat launches open but no such luck. Are the new docks down at the DNR site?

further down. They are practically at end. all within sight of the long lake dam. They've done a good job. nice docks, put in some campsites with permanent outhouse and picnic tables.

Do they have a launch down there? Better yet is it even open?

There is the dnr launch, but it is closed. 3 of us made the run on tue morning. 15 fish in the boat in like a hour. 1/8 oz wt with a orange kekeda fly and a dodger with a orange apex on the other pole. We only ran 2 poles for 3 guys the action was that fast
