Wayne Kettler of Arlington, WA and Doug Mitchell of Granite Falls, WA came out and fished with Jeff. The winter bite has been great all week. They converted that action into a nice pile of fish today. Fishing at 1.2 mph within 5 feet of the bottom in the Trench and the Barrens really produced. Our standby, Silver Horde's Needlefish Squid rig fronted with a Mack's Lure Smile Blade, baited with a piece of Northern Pikeminnow and scented with Pautzke's Krill Juice produced a lot of fish. A Glow Chartreuse Kingfisher Lite spoon by Silver Horde was also productive. This is a great time to fish the open water on Chelan and take advantage of our Winter Special to catch a nice bunch of delicious Mackinaw. Kokanee are also a possibility as well as the periodic rainbow. Thank you Wayne and Doug!
