With Cabin fever I decided to brave the 20 degrees and try and find some crappie/perch. Launched at the park and made it to the narrows where the ice stopped me, so decided to troll for trips back to the launch. I was using a perch colored trolling fly on one down rigger at 10’ and long lined a perch colored crocodile on the other. I caught 2 fish on the fly including a really nice bright colored rainbow. I caught the smaller of the three on the crocodile very near the surface. Water temp was 36 and speed was between 2.1 and 2.3.
