Ice is still 6-8 inches and in good shape. Fished 10-1 today with brightly colored crappie jigs tipped with worm. Lots of hits, only hooked/landed/kept two. Both were rainbows and 10-12 inch clones. Short but fun day. Also got to try out hunting blind+heater for the first time. A bit overkill, as it was a beautiful day, but absolutely comfortable. I had my own warm, private fishing shack :) Saw 3-4 other guys having similar success.
