Rusty and Deb Stendera from Monroe were nice enough to come out and provide Jeff with some adult supervision while he tried to remember how to get back on those Chelan Mackinaw. He worked the Barrens from 170 to 195 feet deep trolling Silver Horde's Needlfish squiddy's with a big Mack's Lure Smile Blade in front. Tie the squiddy up with a tandem hook set up and bait the front hook with a chunk of Northern Pikeminnow. Scent it all in Pautzke's Krill Juice. Troll within 3 feet of the bottom at 1.2 mph. He did pretty good. The snow flakes were lovely. The winter bite on Chelan is great.
