The Baumgartner gang provided Jeff with supervision on the mornings of the 21st and the 22nd. The 21st was windy and kind of kept us from precisely hitting the spots. The morning of the 22nd was an example of a great late winter morning here on Chelan. It was above freezing and no wind! A Mack's smile blade in front of a Silver Horde Needlefish Squiddy baited with a chunk of Northern Pikeminnow trolled within 5 feet of the bottom at 1.1 mph in the Barrens and the Trench was once again the formula for action. Pepe' hopped on later for his first uplake experience. Great afternoon to cruise uplake for some of the greatest scenery in the world!
