1/26/2015 8:40:00 PMWDFW has been stocking rainbows at Rock in October for a while now. They planted 29,500 put,take and grow ( about 3 to a pound) in October 2014. http://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/plants/statewide/
Once they started doing this the fall/winter fishing for quality bowes and browns went down the drain. It used to be our favorite place to go but not any more. The little guys just won't leave you alone to catch nice fish.

2/2/2015 8:41:00 AMhello Alan, the water was pretty clear except right in front of the creek inlet, that area was murky straight out into the lake oh maybe 100 feet.
but still clear on either side.
thinking of heading to roosevelt sometime this week, hope to try out some of those kokanie
then give the snake another try for a stealhead, tried a lot this fall but never got one.
