Really nice sunny weather today so decided to take advantage and go fish. Was originally going to get some worms and try to catch some pumpkinseed but couldn't get any so got some white spinnerbaits out for bass instead. That was a good choice. Started casting from the bank right along the shoreline in shallow water and reeled slow. Second cast I got hit fairly hard by something that felt pretty decent. Started to peel off a little bit of line so I could tell it wasn't tiny by any means. Got it to shore and it was pretty nice for a Washington bass. 17 and a quarter inches and right around 3LB. My first bass ever so it was special to me. Awesome time for only being there about 15 minutes.
