Fished for perch yesterday for a few hours south of E I90 bridge. They are still there in large number between 50 and 70 feet. Worms, perch meet or 1oz jigs would do the job. Tight lines!!!

There are a number of launches on Lake Washington. The closest to I-90 is Stan Sayer's Pits, where they have the pits for the hydroplanes in the summer. The launch is steep and the docks are high, but it's pretty good. I recently learned that the Atlantic City boat ramp (near Rainier Beach High School) was redone. I've put in there the last two times fishing Lk Wa and it's great. There's not a lot of road right in front of the ramps so it takes a bit of maneuvering, but the angles on the ramps are just right and the docks are nice. The people I've met at the ramp there have all been really friendly as well. So Sayers Pits if you want to fish I-90 or Atlantic City if you want to fish Cedar Creek and the south end of Mercer Island.

If you plan on launching more than a dozen times in a year in the city limits of Seattle, there's a city launch permit available for $150.00. I bought mine in January and it's already paid for itself. You can put in at Shilshole, Alki, Sayers, Atlantic City and Magneson. There are also two free boat ramps on Lake Union/Ship canal, but you'd have a pretty long haul getting to I-90 from there.
