Today was an OK day of fishing. Fished for about 3.5 hours, marked a ton of bait near the south end of Mercer Island. I started trolling my wiggle hoochie in orange and yellow with no success. I switched over to my purple uv wiggle hoochie and that produced the first fish which was a 10 inch koke, released to see another day. Second fish was the 22 inch Cutthroat caught 35 feet down on the wire. It was a female that looked to just come out of spawning as she had a few eggs left in her sac. She had been eating very well as her stomach was full of bait fish. Stickleback I'm assuming. After a few more small kokes I called it quits. Winds started picking up and really prefer not getting blown across the lake in my pontoon. Anyhoo, if your fishing Lake Wa good luck to ya!
