My wife and I are both in our late 70's and really enjoy fishing at Lake Stevens. We have been out three times in the last two weeks, 4-5 hours each day and have not had a bite. The first two times we trolled at 0.9-1.2 mph and today at 1.4-1.5 mph. We used 11 different Dick Nite dodgers and a couple of Sling Blades with a variety of Wedding Rings and small hoochies. Varied depth from on top down to 60', we changed depth and lures about every 15 minutes. Tipped lures with plain Shoe Peg Corn and also corn marinated with scents-garlic, shrimp, herring and Pautzke Kokanee Fuel. Washed all lures and dodgers with Lemon Joy and washed hands before and after putting on a new scent. If anyone has any tips that will help us old folks catch a couple of fish for dinner, please email tommonroe@wavecable.com
Thank you
