Took my wife to the Quincy Trout Tournament on Burke Lake. We got here about 8:30 to put in the boat and get her signed up. I had signed up previously. Tried trolling, jigs, worms, power-bait, didn't find a bite. Other boaters seemed also to have a tough time while bank fishermen were doing a little better. At check-in time several brought in limits while many others got skunked. Bite seemed to heat up for some right before noon, but check in was at 1:00 pm, so not much time if you had to pull out a boat. The successful ones even mentioned how many "light bites" there were with little to show for time spent on the lake.
