Got out on the lake at sunup for round two this week, after only getting one bite, one fish. Started fishing as soon as I got out there. was marking fish all up and down between 50ft and 5ft. Had 3 fish come unbuttoned at the boat. Finally stuck one at 8ft and got him in the net. He was about 12 inches nice and plump and nice red meat. The fishing is definitely getting better. the water was at about 50 most of the morning witch is a reason why I think I was able to pick that fish off so close to the surface. The three others that came unbuttoned were all caught at the same depth. pink and greens and purples seemed to work today. The winner was a purple/hot pink UV DN dodger with a green WR with silver tier drop hammered spinner and double pink gamakatsu hooks. hope this helps. Fish On!
