The night before weather.com said 20% chance of rain. What I got was 100%. Wet, wet, WET!
It took an hour and a half to get there. Found out the bathroom was at the other end of the park. It cost $5.00 to launch/park debit /credit only. I had brought cash. One nice gentleman found a parking ticket on the ground and asked if it were mine. I didn't think so but I had to roll down my widow while backing the boat up so it might have been. I walk back up to the vehicle to find out it wasn't mine.
It was a steady rain. I trolled for 2 hours and I think it was without a bite. I had issues with my new Lowrance going from 50 feet depth to 12. Then I had to turn it off and back on. This happened several times. So I am not sure about bites. No fish for sure. Water temp was 54.6.
Not use to a dock for launching and loading so I ended up going out to my knees getting the boat on the trailer before going home. That is how I got WET!
The man who launched before me also came in just before me. He said he didn't get anything either. He is a regular. That made me feel a little better but still wet.
Then the kayaker who was fishing when I got there came in and he only had one.
