We had a fun but chilly morning out on Potholes this past Saturday!
We fished the Crab Creek arm in 18-25 FOW. The fish are starting to move up into the shallower water and are coming out of their spawn. The water coming out of Moses Lake was a little dirty and the water we were fishing had a brown, dirty tint to it. So we had our most success with Chartreuse and Green colored Macks Lure Spindrift Walleye rigs. They had the great action combined with a big enough profile to see in the dirty water. The water temperature in the main lake was 43 degrees and in the arm was 48 degrees. We got a few decent keepers but had to go through some "smalleyes" to get them! All in all an awesome day on the water and looking forward to getting back out there again this weekend!
