Made it to the lake just as the fog was lifting. Waited in line a short time to launch . Got the gear down 8:30 or so
started out with RMT pink glow , first lap not seeing anything on the screen except lots and lots of tiny little fish .
plants I would think . Second lap switched to DN pink splat / and avenger same color & corn also. Tossed another line out in hope of something ? similar set up Nothing! . Decided to reverse direction ,past the red airplane close in and 10' on the wire the whole time almost all the way to the launch I see the pole wiggle lifting slowly . sure enough a little one shiny sliver maybe 8 or 9 inches . It was nearly time for lunch thinking maybe just one more short lap whatever, must have forgot to re set the drag on the reel watching the pole bounce grabbing it thinking ok here is a real fish, not looking at the reel wondering why I'm not gaining ,well that one is still out there somewhere . As for most of the others fishing at least those I talked with 6 or 8 boats not even so much as a bite . The sun was nice but the fishing ? Hum SLOW.

Yikes, hope it picks up. I return from Mexico on Sunday. May give it a spin on Monday. Thanks for the report.
