I had to give the Potholes another shot this weekend..especially after finally finding a pattern the fish wanted last Saturday. Took my old boss out, who is now happily enjoying retirement. He had never walleye fished before so I figured this would be a good opportunity to get him on some fish. We fished on Friday from 8:30 to 3:00. The fishing wasn't off the charts crazy like last weekend, but was steady and a lot of fun! We caught 18 Walleye (Kept 16), 1 Perch (released), and 1 Bass (released). The walleye this weekend where much nicer on average than last weekend as they ranged from 15.5" to 21". I didn't see or hear about too many fish being caught this weekend, but they are out there! Lots of boats and lots of pressure also...crab creek was crowded..especially for a Friday.
