Today was suppose to be cleaning day, but I heard some WALA peeps were planning on fishing.

So I made it out to the lake a little late today.

Started with the hot swimbait from yesterday. Ouch, nothing for almost 2 hours. Well, I had a few ticks, but felt like perch.

Saw 2 SMB cruising inside weedline in about 4' of water.

I pull up to a new spot. I hear a roaring coming up being me and see it's AMX. He catches a ~2lb on a dock that I just fished with no bites, lol.

I see a bass under a dock, that I spent some time with, but couldn't get it to react. I told AMX where it was too.

I decide to keep changing baits and I toss a tube at the front of a dock. Felt a tick and set the hook but missed. Threw back a worm and DS with nothing. Tossed the tube back there and let it sit for several seconds. Tick and set the hook and fish on, FINALLY! Feels like a decent find and see a flash and not bad SMB.

Into the net it goes. 2.60lbs.

I move out into deeper waters working some pilings with only a few taps from what I assume perch.

Went out even deeper and felt a few light taps, with 1 hookup, but didn't stick longer than 2 seconds.

Moved across lake and started tossing the tube mainly. Tried the regular stuff, but no action at all. Just the tube today.

Landed 3 more with the tube. Lost one halfway to the boat. Had a ~2# come charging out to snatch my lure but missed it and disappeared.

Another beautiful day out on the water.
