This report is for Saturday and Today. GreenBoater here is your update as promised!
Saturday: I got a late start and was on the water by 9:30. Started with my orange gear set at 10 ft. Had a strike 15 min into my troll but didn't stick. No other bites for about an hour. I switched over to my green wedding ring setup with the clown dick Nite dodger and set the wire down to 20 and it was lights out from there. Seemed like the bite would come and go but they didn't keep you waiting yo long. Limited out by 12:30. Saw several Wa Lake members out there who got to witness the feeding frenzy! A couple of gentleman were nice enough to give me one of their home tied spinners. Thanks guys!!
Sunday (today): I got a really late start as the newly Fiancée and I had to sign our lease to the new condo in Kirkland. On the water around 1:15pm and not to my surprise there were about 8 different wakeboarders on the water. Not as if that was going to stop me. I started trolling deep at 20 feet with the same green wedding ring and that produced my first fish 25 min into my troll. No other bites for about an hour and a half. I decided to head to the North West side of the lake and switch things up with the pink uv wiggle Hoochie and Shasta Tackle sling blade. Dropped the wire to 25 feet and got into fish immediately. Went 3/8 on the wiggle hoochie. 3 Kokes 1 rainbow. Couldn't land my limit and didn't have the battery life to stay so I headed on in just in time for dinner.
I prepared my fish differently tonight. The fiancée bought cedar wraps from the store. Boy were they delicious. Nothing beats smoked kokanee but these sure came close. Tight lines to Ya!
