First day of the Something Catchy Kokanee Derby on Chelan. Fishing started at around 6am for my boat. I stayed in the same lower basin location as I fished the previous day. Planned on staying out all day trying to scratch out a good stringer of 20 fish for our weigh in. Didn't go as planned, we were back at the weigh station just before 10am with our 20 Kokanee and done for the day. Might not have got the biggest fish but it was HOT fishing with near 35 hook ups in 4 hours! 1.2 to 1.4 for speed and trolling a wide Range of lures including pink and orange Liminators tipped with corn. Super Dipping Sauce was once again. Depth ranged from 65 to 120' in 200 to 300' of water. Had a GREAT time!
