I went out to the docks at Lake Meridian Park to do a little fishing over the weekend. I got there about 9:00 AM and fished for about a hour and a half for Rainbows. I used the same rig that was producing lots of trout in the last few weeks, but the fish are starting to move up the lake and staying away from the docks. After not getting a single bite, I moved over to the side of the dock where the reeds are and started fishing for bass. I used some small senkos and a little jig and caught one small largemouth around 11:00. The rest of the day i didn't get as much as a bite, but around where I was fishing, someone claimed to see a 5lb bass, but it doesn't seem likely for that area. Overall it wasn't a bad day, and a great day to be out fishing
