Hit it up again this morning. Got six, so broke that five mark. One was a monster that I had to jump in knee deep to lip grab him over a log. Good times.

I have seen your posts about this lake and curiosity has gotten the better of me. I scoped it out the other day (I work near there) and plan on hitting it up on wednesday. Any tips for first time fishing that water? best place to start, lure selection, is any time of day better than another. thanks, and great fish, keep it up

Nice fish what did you get it on? Also was it tight to cover?

All but two were tight to cover. The two were in open water when I was fan casting with a spinnerbait. B.gagne22, fish all the bushes trees and pads. I like using small plastics.

I fished there the day before on the 24th and lost two real nice ones on branches. Seriously pissed me off seeing 5lbers thrash around on the surface 5 feet from shore and theres really nothing yoy can do to get them free other than go swimming. Got 4 small ones under two pounds

I've been there, it's frustrating when you lose nice fish on the trees. .tried braid before but never caught anything with it. Throw same lure in there with light line and wham! Those are just my results there. Glad you caught some fish.

Yep you were spot on. All bites right along shore. It's a sweet little Bass lake & I had fun, plus I got to see king Felix throw a complete game shut out so it was definitely worth the drive from Spokane
