Fished the Lake Wilderness opening day derby with my wife, 2 daughters, 2 nephews, sister and parents...... One boat. We got a couple of top ten finishers last year, off the bottom with powerbait, Decided to go after 'em with wedding rings this year. Lots of action, everyone in our troop limited, but did not catch as large of fish this year.

Trolling in the crowd was definitely not worth the extra hassle, although it was non-stop action for the "dehookers" and "rebaiters". We will be plugging berkley products next year for sure.

The fish pen was a good time for those that enjoy fish pens..., breakfast was appreciated by all, and the top 100 awards/prize ceremony was fantastic as usual.
