Decided to go try Martha lake (Alderwood ) haven’t fished that lake for many years . went out Sunday morning. arrived around 6:30 ish the parking lot was already packed but only had to wait a few minutes for my turn at the boat launch. Got out on the water and there where so many boats out on the lake and every one of them were going every which way. It was a total zoo out on the water. The public dock was crazy you couldn’t even begin to count the number of people fishing from the dock. It looked like they were stacked 3 or 4 deep . I am not sure how anybody could even cast their line but every time somebody would catch a fish you should have heard them hooting it up lol.
I fished for about an hour caught 3 fish and I had had enough . loaded up and stopped at Bitter lake in N. Seattle and fished for a few more hours C&R 3 more and called it a day.
I might go try Martha lake again but will wait for the opening day weekend people to thin out .

When I got home I tried my hand a filleting the trout ( first time ) normally just cook or smoke them whole . I think I did ok for my first go-around lol ( I can only get better ) but the wife liked them a lot better that way.

Thight lines all
