I decided to try my luck at meridian today. I got down there about 5:30 PM and started casting out. For the next couple hours I tried to stir up some fish using almost every lure I had. I used Senkos, crankbaits, topwater lures, salmon eggs, and rooster tails and didn't have as much as a bite. Around 7:45 the fish really started to surface, eating bugs across the whole lake, they were biting everywhere, but I couldn't get a fish to chase my lure. Can someone give me some advice for bass fishing in this lake, and should I try to set up a fly-and-bobber system on a spinning rod to target there surfacing fish? Tight Lines!
