Well I caught a limit at W. Mediclal; the only problem was the dinky size (8" - 10"). Because of the size and the rule on all fish caught on bait counting toward your limit, I released the five and quit fishing. Somewhat encouraging, I had two "Bad Boys" break me off on the lake bottom. Also, encouraging was the far less than usual litter in my immediate fishing area. Beautiful day with osprey grabbing trout out on the lake and a pleasant interaction with a fellow angler.

Tom: Hi. Glad the trash situation was better and that you had a pleasant interaction with a fellow angler. Most are really decent folks. Sorry about the small fishes. Maybe next time you'll get a few bigger ones. I think I am headed back out on Monday for some more kokes. They sure smoke up nice and on the barbeque they're awesome. Thinking about doing some summer steelheading in a couple weeks also.

Thanks as always for the nice comments, Denny. Other than "Captain My Spot" at Sprague Lake, the majority of our fellow anglers are very nice people; whom I enjoy catting with. Thus, the less than desirable new citizen," Captain My Spot" was such a shocker.

As to water conditions at W.Medical, I neglected to mention the "Green Goo" has made an early appearance. With its arrival, I generally release everything from W.Medical, small or large.
