Took the new boat out for it's first fishing lesson. It passed with flying colors! Out of the three fish my wife and I boated, I got the biggest and the most. She caught one! Probably because of the saturation of bait from opening weekend, fishing was really slow. The important part is, we got out and it was a gorgeous day.

Nice size to them...........did you try Deep lake? That is my father and I favorite lake in those chain of lakes. Fish are active due to depth of the lake plus besides Rainbow its got a nice Kokanee fishery. Tight Lines my fellow fisherman.

Thanks for the report! but just be careful of that boat launch at Deep- last year almost lost my truck on the slippery ramp!

Haven't tried Deep Lake yet but I will be going there. Yes, that ramp can be very dangerous! My experience last year on that ramp was not almost. The truck went into the lake to the tune of $3000! that is one reason I now have a new, smaller boat!
