Dad and I went fishing Saturday and Sunday May 9 and 10. It was sunny out both days. Saturday started cool but was mostly sunny. We trolled the entire lake pulling anything that resembles a wedding ring with a worm on the hook, but had most success about 40-80 feet off shoreline to the right as you pull out of the boat launch. I was using rubber worms and Dad was using real worms. Ended up keeping 5 rainbows 12-14 inch each, C&R a couple small rainbows and a couple small perch. Sunday started a bit warmer but was calmer. Fish just weren't hitting the same stuff so Dad switched out to a pink spoon with worm on the hook and I threw out a yellow/green rainbow spoon with orange rubber worm on the hook. Started catching a few fish with those. We kept all the fish Sunday, which was 2 rainbows in the 12-14 inch range and 4 more about 10 inch each. We were getting better luck toward the middle of the lake Sunday. Sorry, no pics of this trip.
