Went to Killarney for the first time searching for pike. It was recommended to us by AJsdad, so thx for the info. We didn't have any bites until a couple hours in. Tried the deeper water and the shallow with nothing until I casted towards a half sunken tree on the north end. Saw one small one follow so I casted back in same spot and a bigger one took it. Before I could get a picture it flipped outta my hands into the water. But it was only around 20 inches. No more bites for awhile, so I went back into the flooded grass beds and caught a 6 pound bass on a 10 inch pike spinner. Thought it was a pike at first and it fought harder than the pike. Anyways that was a good unexpected catch for me. Later my brother in law caught 3 pike by the shore so I was happy he didn't get skunked. I caught mine on a green and yellow rubber frog and he caught his on a fire tiger husky jerk.
