What a fantastic morning on Lake Wa! I had 2 hours to fish before I had to teach a sports conditioning clinic so I popped my pontoon in the car and headed down the street to Kirkland water front. Started to troll over to Moss Bay but not to long into it I hooked a fat Pike Minnow. Probably around 2-4 pounds. I knew it wasn't a cutt right away with the dead weight it was giving me. Lines back in the water and 10 minutes later my first cutt is on. Gave me a pretty good run. Boated him, bonked em, bled em, in the cooler he went. lines back in the water 20 minutes pass nothing, another 10 passes nothing. As soon as I was about to switch my gear I get the most aggressive take down I've ever seen. It was one FAT Cutt that became air borne and then took a deep dive. Then a second airborne attempt which he easily got 3 feet out of the water and spit the hook. At this moment I realized I need a gopro camera. I ordered one as soon as I got home. With adrenaline rushing I set my line back down but unfortunately only hooked perch (10) for the rest of my time on the water. I wish I had more time.
