My brother-in-law and I started early in the morning on Sat off the bridge and used green wedding rings tiped with worms that was working ok and we caught a few 9 to 10 rainbows until I tried it tipped with purple power bait. They really went crazy for this and I got more bites than I previously did with the worms and landed a few more fish. I saw an elderly gentleman getting a fish for each time he cast out and asked what he was using. He was using cooked and peeled popcorn shrimp from the supermarket with a bobber. He puts them in the microwave for about 20 seconds to firm them up a little more. This was unbelievable as he left with his limit of rainbows in less time than I had already been there. We used Shrimp the next day and came out with similar results. We noticed that a boy of about 11 that caught one 3 to 4 pound steelie and a 16 inch rainbow. He used an orange colored flatfish down around the dam area. We tried this on Sunday but without any luck. Nobody knew about the additional 300 steelhead and 3500 rainbows that had been dumped into the lake within the past week that I found out about on your website.
