Decided on a last second spur of the moment trip. Took the family to the lake to have some fun at the park. While we were there tossed a orange and yellow rooster tail out. On about the third cast hooked up with a nice 12" or so LMB. Then I spent the next 30 min or so just enjoying the view but not hooking up with anything. Watched a few others limit out or at least catch a few from floats.
