Just got back from vacation. Decided to fish Sammamish today. Got on the water at about noon.

Didn't take long to get first SMB. A dink on a swimbait. Caught several on DS. Nothing on tube. Forgot my box of crankbaits, so started throwing a jerkbait when I noticed the fish were chasing and striking my DS when I was reeling it in. Had 3 strikes on the jerkbait. 2 fish on. Didn't land a single one. Bummer. One of the strikes was almost at the boat. It was a quick flash. If I had to guess, it looked like a LMB to me.

Fish were mainly shallow. Had a few chasers in deeper water, but no hookups on those.

Best fish. 16" @ 1.94lbs. Rest were mainly 1-1.5#ers. And that first dink that was about 10".
