5/25/2015 9:25:00 AMHey Devon, nice catch! But be aware: WDFW regs say that if you are using bait you must stop fishing after you catch 5 trout whether you keep them or not. Not worth the hefty fine if you get caught.

Bait Rules
It is unlawful to chum, broadcast, feed, or distribute into freshwater any bait or other substance capable of attracting fish unless specifically authorized in Special Rules.
Where use of bait is prohibited, or where lures or flies are used voluntarily, ___ game fish may be caught and released until the daily limit is retained.

This would effect not closing the mouth/throat cavity to swallow food or possibly slow it down when swimming fast away from a larger predator trout. Also, if you touch a fish with dry hands, you remove the protective layer of slime on scales that protects it against disease. I hope everyone reads and follows all Rules, keeping enough fish in the lakes and annual license cost down.
