My buddy and I ventured out from Yakima to fish Clear Lake. We got a late start because he had to get the grandkids off to school. So at about 8AM we headed out for some bank fishing. Clear Lake was a bust so we continued on to Dog Lake. When we got there we saw an Osprey swoop down and carry off a fish. No catch and release for it! So we hooked up some sophisticated system (power eggs on a snelled hook). By 11 AM we limited out. Nice rainbows 8" to 11". And like the last report I saw on this site, two F-18's came over the water and chased each other around the mountain.
Word is that fishing this lake isn't good until later in the year. I'm going back this week.
