Hit the lake around 5am with much surprise that there were only a few rigs in the parking lot. Got the boat in the water and my friends showed up for a kokanee trip I promised over a year ago. Out of the three 2 of them haven't been so I was feeling stressed to get into fish. I ran across to the aerator where I had luck the last time not marking any fish. I got gear down and began working around the lake moving shallow to deep. Marking fish here and there and putting a fish in the boat every once in awhile. It did heat up for a short time getting a couple doubles going through a nice school. Several fish were lost to to beginners. Fun times were had by all and look forward to another trip together. I also saw Hunter 757 on the water and said hello. Nice meeting you. The weather being the way it was made fishing tough.

Nice Job, it was very nice to meet you as well. We stayed out there till 4:30pm and only got two fish. Was a real learning curve for us, they like a very slow troll speed, way slower then I am used to. We marked a ton of fish in the afternoon around the aerator also but could not get them to bite. We hope next trip will be better!! Maybe a week or two and will come back and give stevens another shot at it's bounty. We even tried a worm on a wedding ring hoping for a trout no luck...it was sad first time I could not even get a trout to bite our line.

They are very finicky fish for sure. Shoe peg corn for me is a must on this lake. I dont know why the date didnt load right it was the on sunday the 23rd. Plus my pictures didnt load right either? Well I did the whole report on my smarter than me phone. I havent had much luck with the trout on the lake but I dont really target them. I have found they like 1 to 1.4 on this lake. It was very nice to meet you as well even though it was a shout out from afar. Tight lines and Ill see you on the water.
