This is my first report so i apologize if it is dreary. The wife and I hit Carney Lake this morning to do a little fishing before the rain struck. We fished for about a hour and half with lots of bites but little success as the two fish we hooked got off at the bow . The rain hit hard and fast so we decided one more cast as we headed back to shore. Less than a minute passed before I had a fish on and I reeled in a nice 9 inch Rainbow for the fry pan. As I was removing the hook the wife got a huge bite that turned our little inflatable. I really started to question my manliness as she reeled in a 17 inch maybe 2 to 2.5 (estimate) pound rainbow. All in all it made the trip go from a 3 star to a 5 star day as my heart swelled with pride at the size of the fish she caught.javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$btApprove','')
