Big Meadow Lake has always been one of my favorite lakes, I limit out 90% of the time I go! The smallest fish I've caught was 8 inches and the biggest fish was 15 inches, I typically use half a night crawler and Rainbow power bait (Pink, White, Blue or Yellow, Green, Orange) or salmon eggs and use a size 4 or 6 hook with a steel weight (lead is unlawful to use at Big Meadow.) I go to Big Meadow a good 10-15 times a month (no joke) and I am there all times of the day sometimes for 1 hour sometimes all day! It's really relaxing and the mountain views and wildlife are amazing up there (I typically always see a moose and eagles!) Happy fishing!
