Old stomping grounds. It was busy on the lake when I got there in the morning. Lots of trout/kok fishermen.

Banged out 3 10"ers in short order.

I had a perch going bonkers and all of a sudden, I see a LMB get spooked and swim away. Probably 16" or so.

Saw lots of empty beds. Late to the spawn action.

One of my dinks had a bigger fish chasing, but couldn't find it afterwards.

Pitched my DS into deeper water by cover. Felt the take and set the hook. BAM, solid fish. 2.05 lbs. Finally something bigger than a dink.

Weight to the other side of the lake. Caught a couple more dinks. Had to deal with some emails and made a cast on corner of dock. Felt the take and see line moving. Set the and another solid fish. 2.75lbs.

Had on another fish, but no idea how big or small it was. Felt the tick and set the hook. Then line broke because it rubbed up against piling.

Super bright out, with quite the breeze at times. Felt good though. Just hard to fish the way I want to.

Been thinking of going there again, but don't know when. I've got my eye on a Smallie from 20 years ago. I wonder if she is still there.
