Took my buddy Jay out to Liberty Lake this morning for a little bass fishing, We launched at the crack of dawn, (0430), and proceeded to make a lap around the lake. We threw drop shots and senko mostly and worked the weed edges. Jay caught a half a dozen or so and I caught a dozen or so. We caught 7 over 3 lbs with 4 of those over 4 lbs. There are a lot of blue gills every where with some of them appearing to still be on beds. I hadn't been to Liberty in a couple of years and it was a beautiful morning on the lake. We were off by 1100 just as the skiers and boarders were getting fired up.
