6/18/2015 11:43:00 AMthe only trout we got was giving to us and caught at least 35-45 blue gill. I mean it would've been fun if they were 6-7 inches but not 4-5 inches damn I hate blue gill

6/18/2015 12:38:00 PMI remember catching loads of them at Hayden Lake a lot when I was a kid. But yeah not a lot of excitement in catching blue gill.

6/19/2015 7:29:00 PMI haven't ever had bad luck at fishtrap, and I've never seen bluegill or sunfish in there. However, I haven't fished that lake in years. On the other hand, I've generally always had decent luck at Fish lake, so, if you want to go there, you can probably do okay. If you fish from the dock, drift nightcrawlers weightless. If you can get in a boat, the weeds in the center of the lake can produce some nice fish, using the same tactic or spinners.
