I absolutely put the"Kokanee don't bite during the day" statement to shame today. Fished from 1pm to 2pm and destroyed them. Stayed on the marks the enitre time and it proved to be successful. Most fish were caught 25-35ft down. Same setup as last report. It was great to have caught this day on camera. Enjoy the video and tight lines.

Great video DJ, I think after my doctors apt today I will go there and try again. I used to limit out everytime I went but this year seemed to be slow. I usually limited in 45 min to an hour. Last two times I went I only caught one or two. Only one limit this year so far. Glad to see the kokes are picking up!
Thanks for the great report and the video says it all.

Thanks BurnSide

ArrowNaughtic, stay on the North end of the lake. They are stacked up over there. If your using a fish finder you will see what I'm talking about. Good luck and let me know how you do.

I always fish the north end, by the blue airplane and down to about the middle of the lake. Have consistently had good luck over the years but this year seems to be a different situation. I have always use pop gear and worm and white shoepeg corn on wedding rings that I rerigged with two hooks and holographic flashers. Downrigger has never really worked for me but will be trying it more and more . Usually I go out 25 - 30 pulls with a 3 oz banana weight which I figure puts me at the 20 - 25 ft range. Will try to dial in better with the DR as I just bought a new mini release for the ball.

From the video it kinda looks like you have a bend in the dodger. Do you bend it yourself?

PtFletcher- I like the username lol, yes I bend the dodger my self to add a bit more action to it. Seems to work for me!

Nice video! Finally got my rod and manual downrigger. I'm ready to get out there. How late could one go out there? Do you know?

Hey D j how long did that group of 5 take to boat , do ya think that the fallowing is starting to get the drift ,looks and sounds like it . Good thing there is lots of fish in the Ole pond ah! really great video too . Went to the CleElum River Tues Wed Thurs just above the first bridge 300ft of beach front all to our self , one of the biggest holes on the entire river , lots of little fish feeding before dark and first thing in the morning did see a few lunkers occasionally moving slowly up and down in the hole , nice place to camp if ya can get in to the spot seems to be the hot spot for that sort of thing ,had a lot people stop and want to know when we were leaving every day we were there.
